A couple sitting close in a small yellow rowboat, alone on the dark, still water of the lake

The quiet starts where the valley opens.

Forty-three acres in a valley inside Edmonton, with a lawn by the water for the ceremony and a hall for 130 above it. No road or neighbour is within earshot. Saturdays are $7,950.

Arriving

Fifteen minutes from the airport.

Then the road drops into the valley. The lake runs along the bottom, the hall sits above the water, and spruce comes down both slopes to meet it. There is no road noise and no neighbour. For your ceremony the ski boat comes off the lake. The rest of the day it runs, and guests tend to watch.

One wedding on the property at a time.

The hall

Nine-foot ceilings, timber posts, and room for 130 at the tables.

The banquet hall is barrier free, for guests with mobility issues, with a barrier-free washroom stall.

The lake

The lake goes quiet for your ceremony.

The boat comes off the water for one hour, starting 15 minutes before the ceremony. Trees shelter the banks, so on most days the wind barely marks the surface.

It is a working ski lake, and the boat runs the rest of the day.

The hall

Seated dinner for 130 at 5 ft rounds. No steps from the parking lot, a bridal suite included, and a full commercial kitchen.
